How to do this Kriya
Ready to try the kriya to give you self belief? Ahead of getting started, ensure that you find a comfortable place in which to engage in your practice. Be still and calm. Next, follow these simple steps to get it right:
Start this Kundalini Yoga Kriya by sitting straight in Easy Pose, or any position that is comfortable to you.
As part of this Kundalini Yoga, you will need to use a hand position known as a mudra. To get started, cross your middle fingers over the back of your index fingers. Use your thumbs to pin the other two fingers down.
Ensure that your elbows are bent so that your hands are at ear level. Your hands should be parallel to your head and relaxed at all times.
Keep your eyes closed throughout this Kundalini Yoga kriya to give you self belief.
To engage in this kriya, you will need to chant the Har mantra. Follow the rhythm of the Tantric Har by Simran Kaur and Guru Prem Singh. You can put the track on in the background as you chant.
Ensure that you stick to a steady rhythm throughout and that you are consistent in your tone.
You should engage in this kriya for 11 minutes.
When you need to finish the kriya, breathe in deeply and hold your breath. Concentrate on the sound of the mantra and allow it to amplify within you.
Next, breathe out and then repeat the process. Finally, breathe in as deeply as possible. As you do so, bring your navel in toward your stomach. Hold for a second. Breathe out and allow yourself to relax.
