How to do This Kriya
If you want to give the Second Chakra Kriya a go, set aside 11 minutes for the practice. You should find that it’s easy enough to adopt this sequence. Here’s what you need to do:
Start by sitting with a straight spine. You should stick your chest out and pull your chin in. Hold your hands a chest-width apart and keep them at a 45-degree angle from the floor.
Keep your elbows up at all times with your arms stiff. Your fingers should be together with the thumbs also pointing upward.
When you have got into this position, you should begin to meditate in silence while listening to the mantra ‘Ek Ong Kar’ from Nirinjan Kaur.
Follow the mantra: “Ek Ong Kaar, Sat Gur Parsaad Sat Gur Parsaad, Ek Ong Kaar”, which means “God and We are One. I know this by the Grace of the True Guru. I know this by the Grace of the True Guru that God and We are One.”
During the meditation, bring your arms down sharply and move the hands in together. Each stroke should bring you 4-6 inches apart and then back together. Move to the beat of the music at a speed of around one gesture each second.
At the end of each stroke, your arms should return to the original position. Pull the Second Chakra inward with each stroke of your hands. Make sure that this movement is discreet and that you don’t move the Navel Point or the anus at all.
Continue the Second Chakra Kriya for 11 minutes. Finally, finish and relax.
