/ Kriya
Negative energy destroys all elements of our being — spiritual, physical, and mental. When you feel that things are out of balance, utilize the following Kundalini Yoga kriya.
Benefits of this Kriya
- Reverses negative energy
- Supports your spiritual journey
- Helps to release anxiety
- Connects you to yourself
How to do this Kriya
When you want to engage in this kriya, find a quiet space and lay down a high-quality yoga mat. Next, follow these straightforward steps to get started.
Part 1: Chanting
Position: Start by sitting in Easy Pose, or any seated position that is comfortable to you. Make sure that your spine is straight.
Hand position: Bring the middle finger up at a diagonal angle and the index finger downward — as you would scissors. Allow your thumb to lock down your ring and pinky fingers.
When you have created that share with your hand, bring your arms around in front of you. They should be parallel to the ground with the psalm of each of your hands facing down.
Make sure that the fingers are tight and that you remain in each angle. Whenever the middle finger is higher than the index finger, it is called the Gutka Kriya.
Chanting: Once you are ready, begin chanting the following quickly: “Ek Ong Kaar Sat Gur Prasaad, Sat Gur Prasaad Ek Ong Kaar.” It will take around four seconds to complete. Then, you should repeat the mudra again and again.
Eye position: When you are engaging in this kriya, you need to make sure that your eyes are closed. Focus your attention on your Third Eye Point throughout too.
Timing: Keep going for 11 minutes. When you are ready to draw the session to an end, breathe in, hold, and then stretch your arms outward. Breathe out once. Next, breathe in and out quickly three times.
Part 2: Focussing
Position: Next, allow your hands to relax and place them in your lap. Draw your mind to your Third Eye Point and focus all of your energy here.
Focus: When the yogic scriptures speak of the Third Eye Point, they say “Kamal bigaase, sabh dookh naase“. The moment the lotus turns around, all disease and pain go away.” Bring your energy to this notion as you concentrate. Continue for one minute.
Part 3: Visualization
Visualize: While maintaining your focus on the Third Eye Point, you should imagine a large rectangle tank of water and a marble walkway around it. When that is firm in your mind, visualize a massive gate at the side of the walkway. Believe that you can hear music from the temple.
Timing: Continue with this visualization practice for two minutes. Once you have completed that, breathe in deeply, breathe out, and then relax. Open your eyes and re-enter the room.
The Takeaway
The Gutka Kriya is easier than you might imagine. Combining both meditation and visualization, this miraculous practice is worth your time and energy. No matter where you are in your journey, you can use this technology to your advantage.
