How to do this Meditation
Ready to try rebirthing meditation? Before you get started, you should find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Here’s what you need to do next:
Position:
Start by sitting in Easy Pose, or any position that feels comfortable to you. You should make sure that your back is as straight as possible throughout this meditation.
Eyes:
Shut your eyes throughout this meditation but keep them relaxed. Your focus should be on your Brow Point as you focus on your meditative state.
Breathing:
The main aspect of this meditation is focused on breathwork. For that reason, the first step is to pucker your lips and breathe in powerfully. As you breathe in, you should puff your cheeks out slightly. Next, you should breathe out through your lips. Your breaths should be fast.
During this process, you may find that you get spaced out. If that’s the case, you need to stop with your breathwork and return to a long, slow, and deep breath.
Follow these instructions for two minutes. Breathe in and breathe out then relax the breath completely.
Next, start breathing normally. As you do so, you should visualize a flame like that of a candle. Imagine it moving. You should envision that you are the flame itself. While you are a burning flame, you are getting rid of all the negativity in your life. You rid yourself of any shame and guilt that you have ever experienced.
Follow the above instructions for two minutes.
After that, you should continue with the vision of a flame. Consider all of the hope that the future holds for you. While you are burning brightly, you light up the whole room around you.
Next, you should breathe in deeply and align your energy. At this point, you will naturally begin to feel hopeful and positive. You will experience the rebirthing process. Continue for a minute.
To finish:
Breathe in and out, and then relax into the breath. To complete the meditation, lie down and relax on your back for seven minutes.
