How to do the Meditation
Ready to get started with this meditation? Find a comfortable spot in which to practice and follow these simple steps:
Position:
Start by sitting as a yogi. Lay down a mat before you start this mindfulness meditation. You can choose any position that feels comfortable to you.
Many Kundalini Yoga students find that the Easy Pose works well for them. However, we are all unique. You should choose a posture that suits you and in which you can relax.
Eyes:
Your eyes should be closed when you are engaging in this meditation practice. This approach allows you to focus entirely on the present experience and your mind too.
Sound:
While you are meditating, the gong will be played during the session. Of course, if you are trying this intuitive meditation at home, you can use a gong soundtrack or a recording.
However, that is not the only sound involved in this meditation. You should also play Ang Sang Wahe Guru by Nirinjan Kaur at the same time. The gong track should be shorter.
Ensure that you get the volume right. The chanting track should be loud enough to be heard when the gongs start to fade out.
Method:
When you are ready to engage in this meditation, simply close your eyes and focus intently on the sounds around you. You may need to concentrate to reach a state in which you are completely relaxed and at one with the universe. Allow thoughts to come and go.
The aim is to reach a self-hypnotic state. Concentrate your energy on the brow and the tip of your nose. You need to try to lose yourself in the noise around you — as though everything else no longer exists and you are completely alone. When you feel yourself starting to sink into this rich state, don’t fight it at all. Go deeper and deeper.
Mantra:
When the gong fades away, you can continue listening to the mantra. Focus on the Ang Sang Wahe Guru soundtrack for a further one and a half minutes.
After the track has come to a stop, you can continue chanting the mantra. Whisper it slowly and softly to yourself for a further six minutes. Next, chant it loudly for two and a half minutes. Relax completely and finish your practice.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a way to develop your intuition, you’ve just found it. Practicing this meditation will help you along the way! Now that you know how to do it, why not try it for yourself? Dedicate yourself to a 40-day journey to deeper intuition now.
