As we move through the passage of life, we naturally experience a wealth of changes and internal shifts. Our values, how we see the world, our attractions, and our perspectives will move—ebb and flow smoothly.
What is the 7-Year Consciousness Cycle?
To fully understand this process, you need to learn about the seven-year cycle of consciousness. The cycle changes every seven years and, when it does so, we find aspects of your everyday existence altered.
You may notice that the way that you relate to the world around you shifts when a cycle comes to an end. The things that you once held dear may no longer matter as you move forward to a new, defined purpose.
The Core Phases of Our Lives
While we can clearly look at the seven-year cycle of consciousness, it’s helpful to group these periods. Understanding how our social and internal identities change is a case of looking at 21-year time slots.
Learning about these periods will help you know what to expect and better define the phase you are currently in. Throughout each of them, a different process takes place as you begin to mature and grow.
Birth to 21 Years Old
Of course, the first three-cycle period takes you from birth to 21 years old. During this time, you physically mature and your brain starts to take shape. This is the period from childhood right through to adulthood.
It is important to understand that this is the time in which your brain starts to mature and you become ready to fulfil your destiny. You will start to understand the facets of your personality and who you are inside.
21 to 42 Years Old
The years between your 21st birthday until you turn 41 years old are a sacred time. It is during this period that you start to connect with the world around you, including the people that matter the most to you.
You begin to develop your social self at this time, which means that you start to become emotionally connected to those around you. This time will allow you to strengthen social, spiritual, and emotional bonds.
42 to 63 Years Old
When you reach this level of maturity, you will find that your social identity is put to the test. Throughout this 21-year period, you will learn how the seeds that you have planted have blossomed into beautiful flowers.
Understanding the ways that your mind has expanded, what you offer to the world, and how you can cope with all that comes your way will become key. You will start to learn who you are and what you need next.
Following Years
After these three periods, your life will continue to move in a seven-year cycle of consciousness. That is its natural state. You will notice an internal change as each of these periods starts and you begin a new journey.
