Creative block affects everyone differently. Some people find that they lack motivation professionally, while others lose the desire to undertake their favorite creative pastimes, or even become insular and unwilling to socialize.
When we face this creative block it can be difficult to see a way to fight through the weeds. This Kundalini exercise set has been created to allow the creative flow to flourish, whether it has become completely blocked or just needs a bit of a boost.
This kriya is very adaptable, and can be made to last as much or as little time as you like, so you can fit it around your schedule. Try taking 20 minutes in the morning before work to ensure the creativity is really flowing.

How to do this Kriya
Leg Stretch
Posture: Sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front. Bend forwards and take hold of your toes, lifting the legs off the floor whilst keeping the legs and spine straight. Breathe long and deep for between three and 11 minutes.
One Leg Balance
Posture: Get to your feet, with fingers interlaced on top of the head. Bring the left knee up so that the thigh is horizontal and the foot runs alongside the right leg.
Continue with the long, deep breathing for between three and 12.5 minutes. The swap to the left leg for the same amount of time, and then swap back to the right leg.
Standing Cow Pose
Posture: Still in a standing position with feet shoulder width apart, fold forwards and touch the feet, pulling the head upwards into Cow Pose, breathing normally.
Eyes: Keep the eyes open.
Movement: Hold this position for one and a half minutes, and then pump the navel up and down for a further minute.
Yoga Mudra
Posture: Sitting on the heels, bring the forehead to touch the ground in front of you. Interlace the fingers behind the back and reach them up as far as is comfortable, around a 90-degree angle, breathing normally. Hold this position for four minutes.

After you have finished performing this exercise set, take a few minutes to rest, breathe deeply, and feel the creative energy flowing through you.
