The Dangers of a Kundalini Awakening
The Kundalini Awakening is a wondrous spiritual experience. When you follow the yogic lifestyle and stay true to your practice each day, you may find that you start to awaken your true inner self. Needless to say, this can be a transformational moment in your life.
However, there are some dangers of a Kundalini Awakening. The truth of the matter is that some people are not ready to undergo such a dramatic spiritual shift. Those who have not prepared themselves for this change may find that they cannot keep up with its pace.
One of the effects of a premature Kundalini Awakening can be described as madness. Since this shift takes over your entire earthly being, you may find that it is hard to continue with your everyday life. For that reason, it’s important to take care when practising.
The Signs of Kundalini Madness
Now that you know what Kundalini madness is, let’s talk about how to spot it. If your spiritual awakening has already begun, you may start to show some of these signs. That in itself is a red flag. Whenever you notice these worrying side effects, you must slow down.
One of the most common signs of Kundalini madness is a panic attack. You might find that this comes from nowhere and makes you feel anxious, stressed, and unable to cope.
Often enough, people find that they struggle to breath and that their heart-rate speeds up. You may find that engaging in relaxing breathwork helps you to unwind and calm down.
Laughing and Crying
In extreme cases of Kundalini madness, you may find that you start to laugh or cry uncontrollably. Most of the time, there will be no obvious trigger for this burst of emotion. You may be sitting on the bus or at work when it happens to you, for example.
These laughing and crying fits can be hard to control. While we don’t know the exact reason for them, we do know that a Kundalini Awakening intensifies all emotions. So, if you are feeling extremely happy or sad, that may be the cause of the outburst.
Confusion may be common in people who are not ready for their Kundalini Awakening. Since you have not done the groundwork to prepare your mind and soul for this change, it can be hard to understand what is going on. This period can be disconcerting.
Many people find that they struggle to follow conversations, get confused when they are completing everyday tasks, or even find it hard to read books. Bouts of confusion can be troubling. Should they continue for a long time, you may want to contact a doctor.
